In memory of a very special Net member, Carl NW6J. Carl was a very long time member of the Maritime Net and served the Net as a controller, a ready and willing relief operator and a steady relay station from the west coast.

I had the very great pleasure of meeting Carl at the last MMSN Convention in Mobile, Alabama in 1997 and I know he was looking forward to the meeting in Toronto in 1999. Carl will be very sorely missed by all members of the Net.
