December 7, 1933 - June 13, 2007

Tom G. Jameson passed away on Wed. June 13th at the

St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 73.  Tom was born in Clinton, Iowa on Dec. 7, 1933 to Ralph & Helen (Gilbert) Jameson.  Tom entered the Navy after graduation.  Tom married Molly and together they had a son, Joel.  They later divorced.  Tom worked for Honeywell for 25 years and "retired".

Tom, better known as W0KGW to his ham buddies, was active in the Maritime Mobile Emergency Network and Packet radio.  Tom received his ham license and call letters 50 years ago.

Tom moved to the Isle area and designed his house in the woods.  In 2001 he met the love of his life, Jean.  They were married Nov. 2, 2003.  Tom worked on computers in their store and ate the profits in their ice cream store. Tom loved people and enjoyed the interaction in the store. He was always ready for a healthy debate!  He said if he didn't learn something new each day, it was a bad day

Tom is survived by his wife Jean of Isle; son Joel Jameson, (fiancé Marcia) Ramsey, MN;  step children, Ron Clemons of St. Cloud, MN and Tammi Pedersen (Mark) of Isle, MN.  Tom was proud of his grandchildren Angus and Anna Jameson of Ramsey, MN, Cody and Austin Gregoire of Isle, MN; and his 102 year old father Ralph Jameson of Cambridge, MN. Also surviving is brother Bob Jameson (Donna) of Minnestrista, MN and many nieces and nephews.  Tom was preceded in death by his mother Helen Jameson.

A funeral and celebration of Tom's life will be Friday, June 22, at the Isle Evangelical Free Church in Isle, MN at 11:00am.  Cremation handled by Akkerman-Ingebrand Funeral and Cremation Services of Mora
