I am terribly saddened to hear of Rene’s passing. I learned this morning from his son Ray and then passed the news to Jeff, KB4JKL.
I had the pleasure of knowing Rene for nearly 20 years. He was a great manager to work with. He was very fair with people and extremely patient. Rene and his wife
had just bought and moved into a nice home on Mobile Bay just before Christmas. It was to be there home to retire and relax.
Rene had many friends in amateur radio as well as the corporate world and will be sorely missed. To all his family and friends, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
With deepest sympathy,
Bobby Graves KB5HAV
