It is with deep sadness and regret that I learned that Carl, W5LFS, has become a silent key.
As many of you know Carl was one of our most active members always ready to fill in when needed.
Needless to say, he will be greatly missed by all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Denise and his family.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of long time MMSN member Carl Smith, W5LFS on 11/23/17. I learned of his passing from his Daughter who phoned
me to tell me of the news.
Carl was extremely active on the MMSN Net and was very active in local emergency operations. He consistently topped the monthly shift statistics each and every month
as he handled many shifts for the MMSN He was an active ARES member in his community and was also an avid storm chaser.
Carl was married to MMSN member Denise Smith, W5FSL. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her during this difficult time.
